Texas 58 - Rice 14

First Half Observations:  Complete domination!  41-7.  Unbelievable defensive performance - of course it's against Rice, but we will take it when we can.  Offensive production almost flawless.  Just a couple of dropped balls, but a much more consistent performance than the first half of the last three games.  I can't wait to see how many touchdowns Texas will get.....my guess at the final score - 54 - 21.  We will see.

Second Half Observations:  Well 58 - 14 vs. 54 - 21....not bad!  Solid second half performance that would have been a blowout of 70+ points had Mack Brown not shuffled in second and third stringers.  I did note that the second string quarterback had a unique "Vince Young" look about him and I think that will do well should Colt McCoy get his clock cleaned again this season.
