Blog Interaction 2 - The First Great Awakening (Sun, 30 Sep 2007)
Imagine that you are a member of the Church at Northhampton where Jonathan Edwards is pastor. Read (or listen) to his sermon "The Excellencies of Christ," found at http://www.ccel.org/ccel/edwards/sermons.excellency.html and pretend that our class is the congregation of the church. You are all eating together after Sunday service and are discussing the sermon. What are your impressions, how has your faith been strengthened, and what application can you take into your life? This is a mandatory blog (2 more to go). Please make two (or more if you would like) entries - the first answering the questions above and the second responding to another of your classmates. You have until Friday, October 5, at midnight to complete this interaction.

Welcome to the Course! (Thu, 31 May 2007)
I hope that this semester will be beneficial in understanding American History. We will be utilizing this blog throughout the semester in order to discuss topics in more depth and to provide a venue for discussion for the student. You will be required to both respond to my question as well as one response four times during the semester. My plans are to have one blog entry per week. These blog topics will be announced in class and you may pick any topic that you are interested in. Please refer to the syllabus for the value of blog inputs and responses as it relates to your final grade. God bless.
